David P. Ford

David has been helping families and businesses in Spooner and the surrounding communities with their wealth planning goals since 1992.  As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, CFP®, he has the education and experience that is essential in developing your financial road map.

David was born and raised in Duluth.  He attended the University of Minnesota - Duluth and is a graduate of the College of Financial Planning - Denver.  

David is married to Lynn and is the father of twins, Caleb and Hannah, both in the Air Force.  Caleb completed basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX in March 2019, and Hannah is with ground technical support and is stationed at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, LA.

David is a Minnesota Vikings fan, which can sometimes make it difficult for him to be around Packers fans.  He enjoys flying his RC airplanes on his 80-acre field, golfing, and downhill skiing in the winter.
